Thank you for your interest in the LBJ Women's Campaign School, a nonpartisan training program for women who plan to run for office or manage a political campaign. The program will begin on May 30, 2024, with the intention of training potential candidates and campaign staff for the elections of 2025, 2026, and 2027.
We have two rounds of applications for our 2024 Cohort. The first round of applications is due by December 1, 2023. The second round is due by January 17, 2024. If you have any questions please contact us at lbjwcs@austin.utexas.edu.
The LBJ Women’s Campaign School is committed to training the most talented women in politics. Our commitment to affordability means making it possible for women to gain the skills and the community they need to be leaders in public life, regardless of income. Every member of our program benefits from subsidized tuition, as the true cost of our program is over $3,000 per person. We work hard to fundraise all year round to bring that tuition down to $1,750. If you need financial assistance, or if you would like to pay more than $1,750 (a tax deductible donation) in order to help subsidize another participant, please fill out the questions below.
Who are you? Tell us a story about who you are and why you care about being in public life or working in politics. This response can be written or be submitted via a one minute video.
If you choose to submit a video, please include a link below. Please ensure that the video can be viewed by our admissions committee (YouTube public or unlisted link recommended).
